Coco Avant Chanel

I can't wait to get my hands on the movie "Coco Before Chanel". It is about Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel's rise to fame and has Audery Tautou playing the legendary designer. If you too like me love all things vintage and are a fashion connoisseur then this certainly should be on top of your must watch movie list. It's a French flick and I hope it has English sub-titles, but even if it doesn't I'm still not gonna miss this one. Here are some pictures that have whetted my appetite for the movie.

P.s. I also think Coco Chanel subtly propaganded feminism through her designs and sense of Fashion. After all she was the one who set women free from suffocating tight corsets of the Victorian Age by introducing them to a rebellious new style of comfortable waist-less dresses and practical man suits.

Chanel..is just class and style. Can't be compered to anything. And Audrey...she's beautiful, but still she'll stay in my head as Amelie...

Have a lovely day!
