Of Awards And Accolades

Very excited to have received my very first award in the Blogosphere. I've been bestowed the fabulous and much coveted "Sunshine Award" by none other than TheShoppingGirl !  Since I never saw it coming I don't have an acceptance speech ready for this one (like I do for the Oscar teehee). But I shall still make an attempt all the same. 

I wish to thank my parents for not bursting my bubble about Santa and letting me live in my make believe world for as long as I wanted, to this I attribute all my creativity. A big thank you to my hubby for showing me how shopping is cheaper (and much more effective) than therapy. This enabled me to cultivate a fine amount of  knowledge as far as shoes, hand bags and other materialistic pursuits go. I would also like to thank  my 2 a.m friend Kainaz, for getting me semi-addicted to the internet. Something good finally came out of all those late nights of mucking around on the net. To my Man Friday at work for providing me with regular doses of caffeine to kick start my brain into conjuring up many a "fab ideas" for my blog. To Gilt and Net-A-Porter for providing me great investment opportunities for my hard earned money. To Roberto Cavalli for making me believe that my life would be rendered worthless without owning one of his fabulous red leather purses and glamorous shades. And of course to M.A.C for taking away the rest of my little remaining money so that every time I was broke I'd stay put at home and have nothing better to do but blog. To Tamanna and Kunal, for recognizing and applauding the budding talent within me, back when I was still an unknown entity in the big bad world of blogging. And, to all of you for taking the time to stop, appreciate and befriend me.
