Hello lovelies! I hope Monday is treating you all nicely!
Do your boyfriends/husbands step forward to open the car door for you ladies? After a year and half of being married, when my hubby opens the door for me, I know it’s either my birthday or he has made a BIG goof up! (wink).
sigh, Chivalry… are you dead?

p.s. If you’re in the mood for some e-shopping today, do spare a moment to visit these Etsy shops owned by my lovely sponsors… 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

nah. mine has forgotten how... that's why we sold our cars and moved to europe. :)
I pointed out to my boyfriend that one of our friends always opens the door for girls, and my boyfriend refused to believe that he doesn't always open the door for me... but he doesn't. Haha, I don't mind, but it would be nice to have that chivalrous door hold every once in a while :.P
My son opens the doors and not only holds them for me but anyone else who is entering! xo
oh me too! I think mine thinks I have to open the door for him! ha! I wouldn't mind a bit of chivalrous every once in a while! xo
Hello there......hope your day is going good as well:)
My BF always opens the door for me....:) I do remember years ago I dated this guy who didnt....and I refused to get into the car...or go inside the store.....lol...I put an end to that real quick!! hahahaha

Isn't this a lovely tradition? Oh yes, we know we can do it...but what lady doens't want to have doors opened for her? xx's
those photographs are great. i would really prefer if guys opened doors and a lot of them do still.
we had a debate in class once, and this girl really disliked having doors being opened for her ("i can open my own doors..blah blah"), i think she was lying though. its a sweet gesture.
Darling....I would recommend...you to get a Miles Davis -Kind of Blue Album as it would really give you a wonderful taste of jazz world:)
I am so excited for you:)
Kisses,sweetie
What a lovely, old fashioned themed post!
I have to say I'm pretty lucky because my dad has done that since I was little, not only for my mother, my sisters and me, but strangers too!
Plus, my unexpected love, even after more than a year of dating, still opens my door for me each and every time...it is so nice and refreshing! :)
So, there are for sure a few out there who are still keeping chivalry alive! :)

Very inspirational! I really love this. And it's so true. Opening a door for us girls, can NEVER go out of style.

I just read this on one of my friend's status updates and am so delighted to see you justify it here via the amazing photos!
I definitely agree to this. Tush *sometimes*, *very sometimes*!! does it! :)
lovely photos. I like to have the door opened at random intervals, this way I am always flattered.

Always nice to be treated like a Lady.

Sigh, sometimes chivalry does appear to be dead in the world. At least it's alive in these photos!
So funny! My husband does still occasionally but often enough to not make me think too much about it, open my car door for me. BUT he also tried to convince me that being macho was the same as being chivalrous this weekend. He lost.
Oh I adore a man that opens a womens door...xoxxo Happy new week.
elegant!....only on occasion my beau open the door for me :(
Oh I just stumbled across your blog today! And I'm so glad that I did! It's just fabulous! Hope you had a wonderful weekend

Right now I'm doing everything I can to teach my young boys to be well mannered and that the little gestures make a big difference :) Darling photos!
I'm afraid that doesn't happen too often! But I wish it would though!!! Love your pictures!! xo's Kristin
Hehe...Persis,
Just one n half year n this...
Wonder who’ll be opening up what in the coming years;-)
The pics as usual suit the write up to the T...
And make u stand a class apart as u are:-)
Hehe! My boyfriend sometimes remembers to open doors for me and let me out of the lift first etc. but not so much car doors, boo! :-)
Off to check out these shops! Hope you're having a great week so far.
xx
I have been married for a year and nine months and I make sure my husband opens the door for me! ha ha. He opens my door when we go out to dinner, or to the movies... date type things. And when we aren't packing the car up for travel I usually wait by the door until he comes to open it for me. I like to be treated with respect! I return it other ways :)

my husband will still open the door for me and i'll do it for him, too. he only used to do it more when he had to actually unlock the car door with a key rather than a beeper-thing. love the pics!
Chivalry will never go out of style! Any great man will know what chivalry is and how important it is. Love this post!!
Such a cute post! My hubby doesn't always, but he does open the door from time to time and it makes me smile:-) In moderation I see chivalry! Lol
My husband is chivalrous sometimes...at others he is out to lunch, depending what is on his mind! From reading the comments, looks like the norm! :)
Such cute images and text! Lucky me, he still opens the door for me.
Thanks for visiting my little blog! I'm enjoying yours too :)
