Monday Morning Inspiration

  {credits: images, clipart}

Hello lovelies! I hope Monday is treating you all nicely!

Do your boyfriends/husbands step forward to open the car door for you ladies? After a year and half of being married, when my hubby opens the door for me, I know it’s either my birthday or he has made a BIG goof up! (wink).

sigh, Chivalry… are you dead?

*****

p.s. If you’re in the mood for some e-shopping today, do spare a moment to visit these Etsy shops owned by my lovely sponsors… 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

I pointed out to my boyfriend that one of our friends always opens the door for girls, and my boyfriend refused to believe that he doesn't always open the door for me... but he doesn't. Haha, I don't mind, but it would be nice to have that chivalrous door hold every once in a while :.P

those photographs are great. i would really prefer if guys opened doors and a lot of them do still.
we had a debate in class once, and this girl really disliked having doors being opened for her ("i can open my own doors..blah blah"), i think she was lying though. its a sweet gesture.

Darling....I would recommend...you to get a Miles Davis -Kind of Blue Album as it would really give you a wonderful taste of jazz world:)
I am so excited for you:)

What a lovely, old fashioned themed post!

I have to say I'm pretty lucky because my dad has done that since I was little, not only for my mother, my sisters and me, but strangers too!

Plus, my unexpected love, even after more than a year of dating, still opens my door for me each and every time...it is so nice and refreshing! :)

So, there are for sure a few out there who are still keeping chivalry alive! :)

Liesl :)

lovely photos. I like to have the door opened at random intervals, this way I am always flattered.

Sigh, sometimes chivalry does appear to be dead in the world. At least it's alive in these photos!

So funny! My husband does still occasionally but often enough to not make me think too much about it, open my car door for me. BUT he also tried to convince me that being macho was the same as being chivalrous this weekend. He lost.

Hehe! My boyfriend sometimes remembers to open doors for me and let me out of the lift first etc. but not so much car doors, boo! :-)

I have been married for a year and nine months and I make sure my husband opens the door for me! ha ha. He opens my door when we go out to dinner, or to the movies... date type things. And when we aren't packing the car up for travel I usually wait by the door until he comes to open it for me. I like to be treated with respect! I return it other ways :)

my husband will still open the door for me and i'll do it for him, too. he only used to do it more when he had to actually unlock the car door with a key rather than a beeper-thing. love the pics!

Chivalry will never go out of style! Any great man will know what chivalry is and how important it is. Love this post!!

Such a cute post! My hubby doesn't always, but he does open the door from time to time and it makes me smile:-) In moderation I see chivalry! Lol

My husband is chivalrous sometimes...at others he is out to lunch, depending what is on his mind! From reading the comments, looks like the norm! :)
