Trying to display any collection is a frustrating task but well worth the effort.
Yes, I am a literal dork and these rooms with books are “literally” my kind of paradise.
I’ve been passionately collecting books for years now with the hope of having a dark, cozy art-deco styled library in my home someday…

I buy/collect loads of magazines and have been searching for a perfect way to keep/display them, so these book display photos are very interesting to me, maybe I can get some ideas from them! Love these photos, library-style rooms are so cosy! :)

I love the loft in 1, the backlighting in 4, & the idea of having them above me while I sleep like in the last one. Rooms full of books are my paradise, too.

I love large bookcases, even better rooms filled with books! The funny thing, though, is that I'm definitely not a bookworm but somehow books make me feel awe..
I collect books as well! I have such a hard time resisting when I go in a book store. I have a room with floor to ceiling bookshelves, but I am looking for a way to store them in my office as well. . . . some kind of easy, compact, simple shelving unit that will allow me to get that stack of books off the floor. You've inspired me to look a little harder! Thanks! xo

Apparently I collect design publications and have a hard time getting rid of them! I don't feel so bad and feel validated whenever I see other designers with them piled high randomly in a spread :) Off to the voting booth XOXO Kelly
I collect books too and I think I will run out of room if I keep on going the way I do. The first picture makes me swoon! I would love a little loft where I could go and read in peace.
Someday I will have a place like this to display all of mt books. Something to look forward to!

I could almost give up on the dream of having a walk-in wardrobe*almost* if I could get a room in the house layered with books like these...a comfy lounge to bury into...an awesome music system that plays my kinda music...n i am already in heaven:-)
