New Beginnings

A new year is the perfect time to start something newStumbling upon some wonderful words while blogsurfing, I’ve resolved to “take pictures and take courage” in 2013.

Sharing here an old picture from my inspiration folder titled, two sides to every story, isn’t the moody lighting and a feeling that a story is about to unfold in this image completely mesmerizing?

Hope you’ve had a picture perfect start to 2013!

The Organizer

The Cleaner

The Travel Planner

The Manager

The Cook

The Photographer

The Laundress

The Lover

Drifting Away

Hello Maia Flore

Today I’m very intrigued with these slightly uncanny, yet very attractive pictures taken by Parisian photographer Maia Flore.

You know it’s good art when an artist leaves you thinking... What feelings do these masked twins ignite within you? I’d say solitude, separation and longing. They also remind me of Audrey Niffenegger's novel Her Fearful Symmetry.

Ms. Green Fingers

Although not much of an outdoor person, after seeing stylist Eva Lindh’s latest shoot I suddenly developed this strange urge to get my hands dirty and “potter” about in the garden this afternoon.

Someday when I have more time on my hands I shall keep myself a beautiful garden and be known as Ms. Green Fingers… until then I am content just looking at these inspiring pictures. Click here to see more.

What about you, do you enjoy gardening?

Hello Lovelies

Hello, hello! I’m finally back after a scandalously long and leisurely holiday. Spent much of my time going on long drives, reading, taking impromptu afternoon siestas and basking in some well deserved me time!

It’s nice to put your feet up every once in a while, isn’t it?

A million thank yous for your regular visits and love. It is so lovely to be back and reconnect with all you beautiful people!

A Timeless Love Story

The Taj Mahal is more than just a story of an emperor in love with his beautiful wife. It is also the love story of thousands of craftsmen who put their hearts and souls into creating one of the most exquisite monument of the world.

Tried to capture some of that exquisiteness in my camera…

The Taj Mahal – In all her glory!

Trying to convince hubby dearest to build me a Taj! (wink)
