Hello Maia Flore

Today I’m very intrigued with these slightly uncanny, yet very attractive pictures taken by Parisian photographer Maia Flore.

You know it’s good art when an artist leaves you thinking... What feelings do these masked twins ignite within you? I’d say solitude, separation and longing. They also remind me of Audrey Niffenegger's novel Her Fearful Symmetry.

Very interesting! These images make me think of sadness, but they are very unique at the same time!

Hi Persis,

These masks are interesting, have a haunting and a tinge of sadness, but neat to see.

Happy week

These are so interesting. I think they symbolize a sense of solitude. I really like the fact that they are masked twins. To me it portrays the philosophy that solitude can be embodied even if other people are around.
