Just about this time of the year, I start looking forward to Valentine’s Day and today while searching for the perfect card for my hunny, I stumbled upon these at Days Gone By.

Beautiful beautiful stationery in soft luxe cotton card stock, just perfect to scribble sweet nothings for your love, or even keep for yourself. Although, a difficult task to pick and choose from soft vintage styles like Chic Blue and Lace, Old World Rose, Handwritten Love, Linen and Lace…  I think I’ll take one of each please. {Yes, I tend to get carried away sometimes}

Also, slightly enamoured with all the gorgeous vintage styled wedding stationery designed by Nikki at this romantic paper boutique.

Hello Moschino

The 50s and 60s are having a fashion moment like never before. I mean the nipped waists, flared skirts, slim belts, winged eyeliner, red lips, chignons… the chic first lady look.

As exhibited in Moschino’s pre – A/W 2011 collection. Here are some of my favourite numbers:

I’m completely loving the use of that giant gilded frame as a prop in the shoot, with the models stepping out of it as though from a photograph. Simple yet brilliant, keeping step with Moschino’s designs! What do you think?

Trying to display any collection is a frustrating task but well worth the effort.

I’ve been passionately collecting books for years now with the hope of having a dark, cozy art-deco styled library in my home someday…

Enjoy Cupcakes

Much has been said and written about Enjoy Cupcakes but this adorable restored vintage trailer has stolen my heart and I can’t resist posting some pics here.

Windy Springs Island Art

Hawaiian artist Windy Spring’s art is delightfully inspiring, especially for Frida Kahlo lovers and the beach bums amongst us.

And of late, for Betty Page admirers too!

Arent’ these paintings beautiful? I just adore Spring’s use of colours… She makes me want to play with colours too! Mixed medium art, reversible paintings and interesting taglines like “dive into life with both your feet”.
